BACKGROUND
SMB JV have been carrying out advanced works to ensure the infrastructure along the proposed HS2 route out of Euston Station in London is protected to avoid issues and outages once tunneling works start.
BRIEF
The brief is for Collins Project Delivery Limited (Collins) to provide ongoing planning support for 5 individual sites, 1 of which was on site and experiencing issues with delays and resolution of compensation events. Collins experience of dealing with time related disputes was to be used to reach an amicable resolution to existing compensation events and to fairly and independently assess any future issues to avoid costly and time consuming arbitration and/or court proceedings.
RESULTS
Successful delivery of all planning responsibilities and successful defence of significant compensation events totally circa £1.5m.
